Macro Garden / digital prints
This series of images were taken during the early spring of 2019. Shot with an iPhone 5SE and a macro lens, I photographed a selection of flowers (including geraniums, pansies, fuchsia, viburnum and mahonia). These intimate shots provide an alternative perspective - capturing an image that appears both sensual and abstract - almost unrecognisable from the original plant form.
The images have been posterised and printed on Mohawk 350gsm digital paper with Indigo archival inks. Prints measure 30 x 42 cm (edge to edge)
